Post installation

hey there, newbie here..

i'm running on windows hosting and i have problems with my image handling. there is no admin settings for image handling in 4.7. I was told by my hosting provider that there is a image toolkit installed in C:\imagemagick.. how do i configure my site so that i don't get error messages regarding my image handling? thank you.

For some nodes tagged with certain terms, is there a way to make them NOT appear on the taxonomy term listing page, but make them appear in a block?

I would like to do this on a per node basis, but also on a per term basis. That is, if I create a node and tag it with multiple terms, I want to be able to choose in which term page the node would be listed and on which term page it would be displayed in a block, instead.

I have a problem with the user system.
ADMINISTRATOR must approve new user. When I see them in the admin/user page I can see all users bur blocked user I can not open and activate. clicking on them take to error page "The page cannot be found".
I found out that if I take active user and set him into blocked-mode' I cant even submit since the user/22 page (for example) gives the "The page cannot be found message again.
I try replacing into the installation version of user.module but didn't help as well .
any ideas?

I need node level access control for a site I yet have to build. From the excelent 'Building Online Communities with Drupal, phpBB, and WordPress' e-book I learned there are at least 4 different modules that implement this kind of functionality in one way or another: Node Privacy by Role, Taxonomy Access Control, Nodeperm Role and Organic Groups. However, the book also states that 'these modules tend to interfere with each other' and 'Be warned: do not try to mix multiple node-access modules!'.

Hey all

Currently we have a nuke site and most admins like the system of blocks where they can add news etc to the frontpage.

What is the best way to get something similar ? It must be easy to use beacause most admins are not very hany with computers.
