Hi,
I'm working on a new project I think Drupal is just perfect for... although, I've run into a couple of issues I could use some help with.
I've got userpoints and e-commerce installed on the test site.
My goal is to let users cash in user points in exchange for file downloads, so this should work out great!
Here are my questions:
Since file downloads are not tangible products, how could I bypass collecting address data for the user making the 'purchase'?
I do not want to capture physical address data (since the user is not paying with real money). If it comes down to it, where (point me to a template please) could I edit the address book screen to include default fake data in the fields I don't want the user to input (for example, the words "SKIP THIS FIELD").
Also, in the userpoints configuration settings I seem to be misunderstanding the 'Points multiplier for buying' field. What I want is for (in USD) 1 cent to equal 1 point (therefore, 100 points = 1 dollar). I set the multiplier to 100, but for a $3.00 purchase it informs the user that 'this purchase will cost 3 points' (when what I really want is 300 points exchange). Oddly, I've tried setting that multiplier field to a couple of other values, but for some reason, transactions still say they will cost 3 points. Can anyone tell me what the multiplier should be?
Advice from any folks who have similar setups will be greatly appreciated!
