Post installation

Hello,

When I search, no matter what I enter, I never get any results. I can enter, verbatim, the titles of nodes, text in those nodes, words that appear on various pages 100s of times, and nothing ever comes up except search tips. Any ideas why?

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to limit the amount of text that appears on the frontpage leadins? Right now, most seem to go until the first paragraph break. Maybe even a tag that would command the break without disrupting the layout.

I've installed Htmlarea module. Everything seems to be working properly, but the editor window doesn't come up on text areas.

I regularly post at another drupal website which uses this module and it works fine, so there is no problem with my browser.

Yes, I have selected the module, and permissions and default settings.

Is there anything else left to do?
Could it be something to do with Javascript?

I have been working ona bilingual site in civicspace using the I18 module.

everything seems to be working well, except that the authors have produced a bunch of bilingual bookks on the site and though the bookpages exist in two languages the book menu doesn't appear on the frnech side of the site?

Has anybody hacked trackback to work under 4.7 beta 4? It says continuing port to 4.7 in CVS, but that was back in December and it has never worked for me under 4.7. Given that most other blogs support them, I'm surprised trackbacks aren't in core.

Hi All.

I see how to upload Flash Files and Image Files using the Browse Server function in FCKEditor (clicking on image icon or Flash icon), but how can I use this to upload a pdf or other filetype?

Once in "Browse Server", I see a dropdown for "Resource Type", but only "Flash" or "Image " is available at these locations. Any ideas?
