Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Cannot get control panel to work

I'm using Civicspace and am not really getting anywhere with the controlpanel module (which I was delighted to find!).

Here's a screenshot of what I see at /controlpanel.

As you can see, there are icons, but they ain't too pretty! Looking at the code, they don't even have an individual class that I can use in the CSS.

When I go to admin/settings/controlpanel, all I have is the single word "array" with the "save configuration" and "Reset to default" buttons.

When multiple users must edit a node...

Hi all:

I have a piece of content (a survey/form) that is not published yet but needs to be accessible and editable by 3 particular users in an organization. How do I allow this?

The first issue is giving them access to this node. "create surveys" and "maintain surveys" are set, but that doesn't address nodes the user didn't author themselves. So I can change the authored by field to their username to bypass this --- but that doesn't address letting multiple people access/edit this unpublished node.

Menu Item Settings

I guess I'm lost again...I'm using 4.6.5 with the default theme. I created a custom menu. Next I created new content type Page. The instructions tell me at the bottom of the content creation form to click the Menu Item Settings link to expand the options. I don't see this Menu Item Setting link at the bottom of the content creation page.

How to create a new Drupal theme using Adobe InDesign CS2 and Packaging it for GoLive?

Hello Everyone,
I am moving forward with Drupal and I really like to contribute more to the community of Drupal users.
I have been discovering the power of Adobe CS and have recently updated the Photoshop and Indesign to the CS2 versions.
When designing with InDesign you can package page templates for Go Live.
I have been editing logos and colors in the theme folders but as we learn we yearn to achieve more with this great Drupal software.

How to kill evaulation module?

Hi everyone,

I was not careful and put evaulation module into modules directory when I installed a (multi-site) Drupal. Later, I realized that this module conflicted with taxonomy_acces (and there were other problems too) so I decided to drop this module. Unfiortunatelly, it was not succesful. After when I erased the evaulation I got only a blank page and the next message:

Linking forum topics to stories

I have searched here for days and can not find the answer. Maybe I am just using the wrong terms.

How does one link a forum topic to a story or any other node? i.e. instead of "add a comment" the user will be brought to a forum related to the story posted. Can this be done automatically? I thought maybe flexinode or tagnode, but these don't seem to be doing it.

Should we be working from the forums outward rather than the other way around?

Any pointers to where it might have been discussed before or ideas would be of great help.

Thanks.
