Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

primary nav links going vertical, not horizontal

i recently began to tweak the primary nav links css and their references within page.tpl.php. after unsuccsesfully acommplishing what i wanted, i reverted back to the original page.tpl.php, although my links are still running down the page; not across the page.

Is there a setting that specifies whether the primary links go vertical or horizontal? do you think this is something within the page.tpl.php or in the style.css.

thanks,

URL alias string format

My site is creating breadcrumbs that look like:

<a href="/Section Title">Section Title</a> &raquo; <a href="/Subsection Title">Subsection Title</a>

This is perfect. However, one of my subsections is titled 'Bars and Clubs'. The breadcrumb entry looks like this:

<a href="/Bars+and+Clubs">Bars and Clubs</a>

I have a URL alias set up to forward 'Bars+and+Clubs' to the appropriate taxonomy term listing, but all I get is a page not found. Any ideas?

SSL in Drupal?

Hey everyone. I'm running Drupal 4.6 and I want to make a couple of pages secure with SSL. I'm not sure how to go about doing this. Is there a module or something that I'm missing here?

Flexinode modifications

I've created a flexinode, and it works create. When I display the node though the labels for each field I created are displayed. How do I hide these?

Displaying taxonomized links

Does anybody have any good examples of live pages that display a collection of weblinks organized by category? We've implemented these types of links on our site, but the default display of them leaves much to be desired.

Here is how our site looks right now:

Examples of PHP code we can paste into a node would be appreciated.

Question about a theme

Hi, I'm looking for a theme or actually a css for my drupal site. I've seen some very nice ones out there but I'm looking for a clean 3-column layout with a menu bar or tabs below the header. A similiar theme that I like is www.goosemoose.com. I'd like it full size of whatever monitor I'm viewing it in but be able to also see the entire page in 800 if necessary.
