Post installation

Hi, what steps do i need to take to handle adding a series of files to a node? can i put upload fields anywhere i want? what does drupal provide on the api side to handle file uploads? Are there other modules beside the upload module that will help with handling files attached to nodes?

Hi all- I'm totally new to Drupal, and am looking for a simple way to tick a box that says if the story or blog post I'm creating is viewable by the public or only by registered users. Is there an easy way to do this, that I've just missed? Thanks in advance.

I don't have LOCK access on the Mysql database - being on a shared server =( Is there any way I can get around these errors? They're not fatal admittedly, but they make the site unusable for posting comments or new data....

I don't know if the header information is related ....

I have the problem in sending email after user registered. I'm using drupal 4.6.3 and php version 5. I try to solve the problem using http://drupal.org/node/7294 but when i follow that instruction and run the drupal again, i have the following error.

I'm new to Drupal, and am having trouble installing a few modules that require adding new tables to the database.

In particular, the Organic Groups module (for 4.7) has an "og.install" file that supposedly creates those tables. However, where does it go?

For the life of me, every time I activate the module, I get a warning that the "og" table doesn't exist.

I'm trying to find out how the Who's Online module decides who is online and for how long. Searching the forums I found instructions for changing the settings, but they don't appear in my 4.6.6. admin pages.

Where can I find out how to adjust this?
