Where can I change the message given to users who try to access stuff they don't have permission for?

I wan't to link to /node/add/story, and if it is an anonymous user (who can't do that) offer them a login or register screen.

I'm having troubles with the avatar upload, it doesn't seem to upload regardless of how I try to "fix" this. I've searched long and hard and done a lot of the "suggested" things but I still keep getting the same error! Please help! this is frustrating me soo much!

I would like to override the default /admin. It currently defaults to /admin/logs and I would like to change it to default to /control_panel (or anything else for that matter). How can I do this?

Can anyone tell me the best way force my users to name their files properly before they upload a file? With say, javascript or something?

For example, I want to force my users to use all lowercase alphanumeric only (NO dashes, NO hyphens, NO special characters) followed by a single dot and 3 character file name extension.

e.g.

alllowercasealphanumeric.jpg

For two weeks I have been trying to get Views to display certain lists of nodes generated by aggregator2. In a nutshell, my stumbling blocks:

1. Cannot get any additional Fields to display except in List View. No matter what I do, the view is the same: title, node summary/contents, and links. List View will display these fields ... but unfortunately, I also want the teaser and that is not an option under List View.

I just tried to make the submit info go away when you submit a new page, however, when I click the save settings button, I get

warning: mkdir(files): Permission denied in /mounted-storage/home19a/sub001/sc19354-FUEF/www/testDrupal/includes/file.inc on line 91.
The directory files does not exist.
The settings have not been saved because of the errors.

How do I go about fixing this?
