Post installation

Hi.
I'm using the category module v 1.104 (2006/04/17 07:05:57) with enabled category_menu.
For one container I've set "enable (but disable each item)" for menu items. If I manually activate the menu item for this container and then edit the container, the item is deactivated again.
Is this a bug or a feature? :-)
Or is this already fixed in a newer version?

i use an api to call an external database and embed it into my site. when i get better at sql, ill be killing the external db [currently hosted by quickbase] and using my own resources, but until then...sigh.
on a side note, the db displays flawlessly with drupal, while in my static html/css, it never looked just right.

in the past, i allowed a link to display above the data, allowing ppl to visit my companies public pages at the quickbase site.

I'm trying to build a link directory with categories, site descriptions, in/out link tracking, and site hit-tracking.

The only part that seems to be missing is the tracking of site hits. I'm trying to find a way to create a PHP generated "button" image that can be inserted on site directory pages to track unique hits, similar to the way many Topsites directories work, but with all the benefits of Drupal.

Is it possible to set a menu term to have multiple parents so that it could be in two menus at once? I'm using 4.7.2 and a modified pushbutton theme.

Basically what I am looking for is to get the primary links menu inside the navigation menu so that I can have a block that has all the primary links that are displayed by the theme plus some more links. I can do this by creating terms corresponding to primary links in the navigation menu, but then each time I want to add something to the primary links menu I have to do it twice.

I've just installed the Amazon Associate Tools and it seems to work fine. However, I'm based in the UK and I have amazon associates accounts with each of the stores (USA, UK, France, Germany etc).

In the module set-up it allows me to select a locale and enter my associates i.d. for that specific locale, but it doesn't allow me to add my i.d.s for the other amazon stores/locales. Am I limited to just the one store/locale with this module?

I would love to have the nice menus module working for the interlace themes. Right now on www.animecards.org, the main menu is a nice menu, expanded items are expanded, not a drop down in sight.

The module works for Blue Marine, but not for any other theme I have installed (all four interlace themes, friendselectric, and fancy). I have Netscape 8.1, in both viewing as in Firefox, and viewing as in IE, it doesn't work.

Any ideas?
