I've just installed my first drupal site but for some reason new users can't post to the forums and i can't see an option in administration to change this. any ideas?
Portlets are blocks shown on title page only. Once user clicks on one of the portlets, then the portlet detail only is shown in the content area together with standard side-bars.
Today one has the posibility to place a block into the content area, but such block is shown permanently.
What would be the best way to add functionality into Block administration to:
1. have option to place the block in "front page only"
2. switch on and off the node list from the front page as it is shown today
I'm trying to use the Views Module to list the all the terms under a specific vocabulary and when I click on the term it will display all the nodes under that term. I can't seem to figure out how to do that. Can anyone help me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can someone please send me the updated filemanager file so i can use acidfree? Drupal seemed great, up until patching for acidfree. It seems i am not alone in not getting patching to work for the life of me. A better system will be needed if widespread use is desired. Thanks.
For some reason, I have been checking "Sticky Post" for ALL my posts.... which I started when I was a novice at Drupal.. but now I have to carry on as I have no choice or the new posting dont show. Is there any way I can uncheck ALL the 'Sticky Post" selections in the database?
Hi there!
This post asks if people that have created special node types (that maybe don´t want users to search into that nodes), or people that have special categories for registered users, are using the Search module.
The Advanced Search is easy, good and fast, but doesn´t give the admin the capability to config their visitor´s search.
I´ve tried the module GSearch, with no luck, and using directely the Google Search free service, but I think it is fastest and easiest to use the search module... The only thing with it is the lack of configuration options...
