Post installation

I have just installed CivicSpace but would like to change the look of my new site using a theme designed for Drupal 4.7 (sorry, I don't know the CivicSpace version number!)

Will a Drupal 4.7 theme work on a CivicSpace site or do I need to look for a theme designed specifically for CivicSpace?

I've got clean URLs & the path module enabled. When I add a clean URL path to a page, it still redirects when you go to the URL.

For instance:

If I create a page at:

http://www.site.com/foo

When I go to that url, it redirects to:

http://www.site.com/foo/?q=foo

Why?

I am nieuw hier with my second drupal site. I am trying to use the embedded video players from Google and YouTube? Normal I use in my drupal 4.6 website, but one with 4.7 can not get them to show up in my site. I use now video model but i prefer to embed html code direct in story. I enable full HTML input format. Is this bug for 4.7 or I make some mistakes? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I've been looking and working for a few days trying to set up my shopping cart. however, I can't seem to find/install the cart module itself. I've tried dropping the ecommerce folder in /modules/ as well as /sites/default/modules/ but both times i still get no 'cart' option under admin/store/settings/. I've even done a clean install of drupal. I've search numerous forum posts and different help topics to no avail.

I'm trying to setup an ecommerce site for my Mom. I stumbled upon Drupal, while trying to figure out the options to setup a site (without spending too much for the monthly cart/cms/transactions/hosting fees). I believe Drupal could be the solution to help my Mom launch her site with minimal costs.

In the last couple of days I have setup a website (www.carunya.com) using Drupal and Ecommerce 4.7 module. Would like to get some help with the following -

1. from administer > create content > product, I am able to create an apparel or shippable product. However I'm unable to add any images as part of the product details.

2. I also created some 'product variations' via administer > store > settings. Later during the product creation I am unable to select just the necessary product variation for use. i.e. If colors, size, & features are the available product variations, The subproducts created uses all the variations even if some of them are not applicable for the current product.

3. I created two separate products (silk throw & embroidered pillow). Next created a menu item 'All Products' to link to these products.

4. How do I populate the products, so that there is some hierarchy for the products? i.e. Ideally I would like to have a left sidebar navigation section where I can clearly display products by category and/or vendor.

I guess some of my difficulties are related to the fact I'm not sure of the correct way to build Drupal sites. Greatly appreciate your help as I progress with my site development.

I use the event module and the calendar to browse the events often does not show the actual date. If i add a new event the calendar adjusts and the actual date is displayed. But if i do not add a new event the calendar displays a passed day!?
I thougth the problem might have been the cache, but I turned the cache off for the page and it did not help?
Any suggestions?
