Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

question about taxonomy and creating views...

Hey there,

I have a list of car models that I built in my taxonomy. let's say I want users to post different node types but all related to the sames car models...

So the users can create reviews, post pictures, links, etc...

I need to create a view then to order those nodes by node type in the car model taxonomy page right?

How could I create such a view?? I ask the view to select all content that has the car model assigned as a category, and then I filter by node type... it shoulf give me what I want..

How do I create events with details hidden by role

I'm making a site for a community band. I want to have a list of upcoming concerts (events) visible to everyone (anonymous as well as authenticated). However, I want to restrict some details to a certain role or roles. I thought about using Node References for this to link Concert Details (restricted by role) to a Concert (shown in a block).

upload via FTP method instead of PHP, this would help a lot of users

i have a suggestion for future upload.module rev. to use FTP method instead of PHP.
Because most of the users have Max_size limitation.
A Java based upload module, like on kodakgallery.com would be nice and user friendly. :)

my two cents,

is links package ready for a production site?

Hi there, I know that the project page states that no, but still that message is from more than 6 months ago... Is the links project OK to use on a production site, at least in the basic functions?

Thanks

Theme not showing comments: what do I kick?

Our theme (based on Internet Center from the Drupal repository of themes) isn't showing comments. For example, if you go to http://www.ponderfodder.com, scroll down to the book review of Transmaterials and click on the link to the comment, it takes you to where the comment is supposed to be, but the area is blank.

I know the comment exists, because I can see it in the database. How do I get the theme to display it?

Comments: 'one click away' ?

In the comment module, there are four options for the default comment display mode: Flat list - collapsed, Flat list - expanded, Threaded list - collapsed, Threaded list - expanded.
