Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

fopen error

I have been getting the error below since my host changed ownership of my directories. This error is showing up in the Drupal error log. Some of my thumbnails are not showing up at times, but may appear the next time I access the page. Can someone tell me how this can be fixed? I posted this on Gallery forum but nobody has answered.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Frontpage module redirect problem

I'm using the Frontpage module to redirect anonymous users to one page and logged-in users to another. Anonymous users go to panel1 (created with the Panels module) and logged-in users should be redirected to node/30 as soon as they log in, but they are still seeing panel1.

Admin > Sytems events == completely broken. I think.

I am using drupal 4.7.3 on a remote host. The remote host uses Linux.

When I login as Admin, I do not get a list of system events anymore. Instead, I get this:

My site wont authenticate any users

I created a drupal site, logged in & created 3 user accounts. When I logged out, I couldnt log back in, even after changing the passwords direct from the mysql database using MD5 replacements.

In phpmyadmin, I am getting the error:

The $cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] directive MUST be set in your configuration file!

Could this be the cause? How do i rectify?

Error display calendar for events module

I am using Drupal 4.7 with PHP 4.4 and when I display the calendar view for the events module I get the following warning:

default settings in multisite

there's some way to enable "default settings" in multisite drupal?

I need, once created, default album gallery, default base taxonomy, default theme, default 'staff' role, etc

I'm using drupal 4.7.3, one db with prefix tables for subsites
