Post installation

I cant seem to get file uploads of any type working. I searched everywhere I could think of for an answer to this and could find none.

If I try to upload a user picture it always tells me:The uploaded file was not an image. I tried gif, png, jpg of 80x30 dimensions and 3k in size.

Trying to upload an attachment onto a page it shows size of 0 and lists no file name. Then save the page and nothing is written to it. Any ideas?

Using IIS 6, Drupal 4.6.9, PHP 4.X.

I assume from the API docs that this is meant to expand the menu as if an item had been selected, but I can't seem to get it to work. I have the following:

The team page is a list of team members with a link to an individual team memeber page. I tried the following to keep 'The Team' highlighted:

Hi, a client had some confusion with the delete button, the one that deletes a page when you're editing it.

I would like to change it from "delete" to remove page or something, I can't find this instance of delete in the source, because it's used a billion times. I also tried creating a custom-english language pack using the locale module but when I altered the only instance of "delete", the button did not change.

Any help would be appreciated,

I'm trying to work out how to acheive the following.

I want to have users be able to add pages into an existing menu structure from the node page without having access to administer menus. As far as I can see there is only all or nothing. Does the menu module need patching with extra permissions for this?

my drupal sites have been up and running for months with no issues, then overnight i get a page cannont be displayed message. i just re-installed with the newest version of 4.7 after finding this problem, and still have it. 3 sites linked to this one install all have the same issue. I have one other site running on it's own in another directory that's fine. (not sure of it's version however). any ideas? thanks
