When I'm logged in as an admin user and create content. I notice that any content I create (page, personal blog entry, story)and submit moves all the way to the back. And will only show up at the front page when I log out or I'm logged in as a 'regular' user. Meaning the sort date is ascending from old date to new but as a regular user or not logged in it display's regularly in descending order.
I've tested by creating content and adding it to a sticky but will not go to the front as a sticky unless I log out. What am I doing wrong?
OK i'm playing around with the views module and its incredible.
One thing ive noticed i can do is create a block with the current logged in user who is looking at it displaying his / her last 10 blog (or any content) articles.
I wonder if i can use this module to do the same thing on a blog page taking the node author as the filter, but i can't seem to find an option for that.
Anyone know if it exists and i'm just not seeing it ?
Does anyone have a tool to migrate away from acidfree? It seems to cause me more problems than it solves. My latest problem is that pdfview doesn't support acidfree images, and I don't want to add the functionality, but do want pdfview.
My homepage has started listing nodes in Chronological order, instead of reverse chronological order.
This has only just started happening and only happens when you are logged on - anonymous users still see the correct order (reverse chronological). You log on, it is wrong, log out again and its correct again.
One of the problems on my existing non-drupal site is people trying to hack my forms. I am not an experienced programmer and I solved the problem with some scripts available on the web.
I am looking into changing the site using drupal but I would like to know if webforms, which I am trying out, has these kinds of safeguards.
I've recently installed the vote up/down module on my website with all the require and suggested extras. After enabling the extras, the vote up/down module doesn't work as it's supposed to. The voting part works, but it does not promote/demote articles on the front page. Does anyone know how to remedy this?
