Post installation

I have two vacabularies that I use to tag nodes. One of which is an ugly 6-digit numeric code (an issue number). Is there a way to display only the terms from the nice-looking taxonomy and prevent the numbers-only term from displaying?

I've been running Drupal for a few weeks and really like it. There is one issue i can't seem to figure out, and can't find anything about it on the forums. When i create new content it automatically is shown in a list on the front page, as well in its proper menu. Is there a way to not let it show up on that main page, or perhaps show the last 5 peices of content, or the content from the last month or so? I don't need all of my webpage content listed on the main page when it can be found in the menus. Thanks,

Here's another fun one to add to my seemingly unanswerable questions but more indepth (and hopefully able to garner a response).

My forums use a path alias, but all topics do not, so a forum has the url:

http://mysite.com/forum/myforum

But when a user creates a forum topic and views it, the url is something like:

http://mysite.com/node/1

But what I want is:

http://mysite.com/forum/myforum/node/1

How do I achieve that? I can't figure it out, am I missing something simple?

I've realised that anonymous users on my site can only view content (nodes) if you give them rights to be able to administer nodes.

Anyone got any ideas why?

I'm using the category and i18n modules, apart from that it's a fresh install of Drupal.

Ok, for some reason on one of my drupal websites I cannot choose: Left Sidebar, from the block location page.

I only get these options: right sidebar, content, header and footer, and on the same installation of my other Drupal 4.7, I can choose the left sidebar???

Would there be something I did wrong, or a bug somewhere?
