My tables for the Profiles.module are missing! I'm not sure what happened. I disabled profiles under the admin> modules and then tried to re-enable it, but it couldn't install the tables.
After playing a little bit with Drupal on a test site, I decided to use Drupal in two of my existing websites over Joomla. Due to the fact that these two are live sites already, ( one is 6 months old and the other is 2 years old), it would be weird to see that I have joined my sites just a few days ago.
I will be posting old articles with their original publishing dates on them as well so how did i post the articles a year ago if I just joined the site last week, get it! ;-).
Until today my Drupal site is up, running and no problems. Today I went to go tweek the theme and something weird is happening. When I click "themes" in the admin box, a new window is opened in my browser and I am taken to the correct themes address, ..../?q=admin/themes but the screen is completely blank. I checked the site and all my theme files are there. I even re-uploaded them just to be sure but to no avail.
I wanted to try out the Views module to fiddle with the look of my pages. D/l the module, installed it in the modules folder. Logged back in the site, tried to get the modules page in the administer section: blank page. Removed the views folder: back to normal.
What's up? I am using Drupal 4.7.3 and the latest Views version on the Drupal website.
I wanted to submit this as a feature request to the book module but I couldn't find the proper channel to do so. Anyway, when a user submits a child page within a group or outlines content within a book they are presented with all site-wide book pages in the drop down menu under "Parent". This is not good. If you have a website that contains hundreds of groups and book pages, the user will have to painstakingly weed through all of those choices in the drop down menu in order to find the correct book page. I don't know about you but that would definitely make me hit the Back button.
I have been working with Drupal for a few nights, and customizing CSS, backend, modules etc... But tonight I happened to visit the administer settings section and came across a list of "subjects or categories to edit. General Settings, Error handling, etc... But they are blue, but with no options below, and or are clickable.
