Post installation

I am trying to add a block in the content section of the page and only shows up in the front page. This block always seems to be below the news and stories items. Is there a way of making this to be at the very top of the content section. Please help.. thank you

Is there a way I can store the output of a template in a variable, rather than output it?

I'm trying to make a template that includes another template, so I figure if I could pass the template a string that contains the results of the sub-template, it would be a little more elegant a solution than passing all the variables the sub-template needs twice.

I'm using Smarty but maybe the Phptemplate way of doing things will work, too.

I have put a nice little button, in a drupal block, on my site that allows iTunes users to click and subscribe as a podcast in iTunes. It looks something like:

I've got the Spam-2.1.3 module installed in Drupal 4.7 and when attempting to mass delete several spam comments I get the following warnings:

This looks to be throwing the error on node_load() called in the spam_delete_node() function. That's as far as I got.

Anyone else had this problem? Anyone know of a workaround/bugfix?

I'm setting up a new (and my first) Drupal powered site and I'm having issues with the forums & organic groups. I set up the forums originally in 2 containers but I wanted to limit access to them based on groups (love the OG concept, btw). The problem is now that I've set up the groups, my forums are gone.

I can't even make the forums visible if I move them out of the group into a seperate container.

I cant seem to get this to work. I only have pay with cc selected as the only option. I am running cron.php. When a new user signs up they are getting emailed through drupal. However, I cant get email notification to work with ecommerce. I did enable this in the store/settings.

Any ideas?
