I have used the (very, very useful!!) import-users module to create a list of users. They have no passwords yet.
I have seen and edited the letter that the administrator can send to new users to invite them to login and change their password if they like.
I have seen that whenever an individual new user is added then there is an option to send this administrative letter to this person. If you check that, the user is notified.
I have installed the invite module,
As a very impressed Drupal user I came accross the following strange thing.
I am administrator (user 1) of my site.
My account name is TheoRichel, the emailaddress there is theo@richel.org
Now I have added a user for testing purposes with the name TheoTest and of course a different password. Email: theotest@richel.org
Has anyone got the interactive map to work in the location form for events?
I have two issues - the lines are not showing and the map loads offset to the left, so half the map window is empty.
I uderstand this is to do with loading the map in a collasped area, so would forcing the collasped area to be open by default help (an how do I do that if it's worth it).
I would love to have users be able to set their event locations via the map - anyone got that working at all?
I would like to add states / provinces for the UK (actually called counties) to the states/provinces drop down list in the location form.
Can anyone shed some light on this - I see a lot of discussion about adding zip code support for the UK etc, but not a lot being done, and in any case that is not what I need right now.
Just a way of adding all the counties for the UK to the drop list would be great.
Thanks for any advice or tips/links to threads that might discuss this - I tried searching but no luck.
I would like to define a user's role during the registration process. For example, the user inputs that he lives in London. Thus he would be asigned the administrator defined role "londoner" automatically. I can only find how to do this manually.
I really get the feeling this it is me that is missing something and not Drupal... so sorry in advance if its so obvious, but I could really do with some help.
