Acidfree - How to assign access group with mass import?

I am trying to restrict access to my photos with the simple_access and acidfree modules. This seems to work fine, but when I use the mass import feature, I do not have an option to set the access group (group of users that I would like to give access to the photos). On the tab for uploading single images, such an option is available and works fine. I also tried setting the access group for the album I am importing into, but the mass import seems to ignore the album setting and so all the pictures are still uploaded with no access groups assigned meaning they are public by default.

Proximity Search Problems

I am having users inputting location information into a cck page using the location module. I am using views as my search and would like to add a proximity search to this. The problem I am having is that it doesn't matter what zip code I put in, it still returns all created nodes, nowhere near the submitted zip code...

Any ideas?

Category module help

Hi, I am quite new to drupal and am trying to get my head around the category module.

I have created a container called "content types". I have created three child categories: "products", "clients", and "jobs". How do I say that a page in category "jobs" must be the child of one page in category "clients" and one or more pages in category "products"?

Does this make sense?

Thanks for your help. Chris

Nifty Corners Module doesn't work for me (at all)

Hello everbody

I've just started with Drupal (I've just started UNDERSTANDING drupal). I'm using version 4.7.3

I installed the Nifty Corners Module, and the Theme fancycvs

I had to enter manually the SQL for the creation of tables for the module (as the bug issue says).

I created a nifty corners content and I'm not sure how it works. As CSS selector I've tried the next:
table#header
footer
table#footer
div.node
div div.node
div.content div

Host Company Says Drupal Software Has Database Optimization Issues?

Mysql 4.1
Server = linux w/apache
Service Type= VPS

Hello Drupal Nation,

After many, many, many inqueries to our site host company as to why our site continues to crash necessitating a consistent restart of the mysql database server as a result of some of the most simple task such as configing site/adding banners/story content, etc.., our host company had the below listed comment/analysis. Has anyone else in the Drupal Nations had a similiar issue and gotten a similar response from its hosting company?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting our Support Center!

I've just finished checking your site and found out that the mysql server was quite loaded. I've manage to restart it and now the site is up and running again!

In order to help you improve the performance of your website, we have investigated the specific cause of the high load. It turns out that the MySQL queries of your website are processed very slowly. Normally, the reason for such slow MySQL queries may be either in the size of the MySQL database, or in the fact that these queries are not well optimized. We have found that its size is not the reason for the slow connections. It turns out that the drupal software you are using on your website runs not well optimized queries.

If you need further help, do not hesitate to contact us again.

Best Regards,
