Post installation

I asked this earlier, could you please help me? I checked with the demo at www.opensourcecms.com, how the forum should work, that is, when I want to add a new topic to a forum, I get the categories box, but inside of it is Forums dropdown menu, where I can choose between created forums. I do not have such a menu, only the categories, which means that my forum topic is just another orphan node, my forums remain empty. Have I damaged the menu structure somehow by testing pathauto and other menus/modules?

Hey everybody. I keep getting this permission denied error (below) every time I attempt to upload an image. Have scoured via Google and rechecked my permissions ad nauseum. The following users have full control of the files in my website root directory, which is running on IIS 6.0.

IIS_WPG (mydomain\IIS_WPG)
Internet Guest Account (mydomain\IUSR_mydomain)

Here is my error:

Ok, I get how to download pre-made themes but I can`t configure them too well. I want my site to have specific colours & a specific background image. How do I go about making my own but without really knowing how to code? Is there some sort of theme generator I can use where it`ll ask things like what I want the font colour to be, what I want the background image to be, etc?

I've been using the Category module to organize my site. There are over 1000 nodes right now which are all hierarcy and categorization created using the Category module. When I first started adding categories, it would take around 3-5 seconds to post. Now it is taking 20 seconds or more just to create a new category. It has gotten progressively slower since I started. It takes around 15 seconds to post content that has been categorized using the activeselect module. It is still very fast to post content that is not categorized.

On the demo for pageroute (and nodeprofile) there is a 'Start' link you can use to see it in action. The first time it walked me though adding my infomation, the second time it started with the information I had already entered. While I can configure pageroute to provide the "wizard", I can not get back to the wizard so I can edit the already information and I can figure out how to duplicate the behaviour of the 'Start' link. Any pointers please?

The problem is:

I created primary and secodnary menues with category module.
One of the categories lists it's assigned nodes. Up to this point - everything is ok.
But when i click on any of the assigned nodes link to "read more" - the secondary menu competely disappers.

But primary-secodnary menu block does not have any restrictions on apperance on the site!

How can I get my secodary links to appear even when I display single assigned node?
