Post installation

Any opinions as to best practices for removing duplicate nodes? I imported nodes from an external database using a few lines of php and now I have lots of duplicate nodes for some reason. I've read about using MySQL DISTINCT cmd, but I'm not sure if that's best.

/var/apache2/www/

And i created gallery2 directory like this:

/var/apache2/www/gallery2

I'm not sure what needs to be entered here, under settings> Gallery

Hello All, I know this has been addressed a few times, however, I have not been able to resolve it with the suggestions found, I am sure this is my fault and simple. Here is the highlights:

Go Daddy shared hosting
Using a subfolder (go daddy's domain aliasing)
I have uncommented out the .htaccess line and entered the folder name.

I have multiple access denied errors in my log that show one member trying to access pages they shouldn't. However their IP number says it's Google. How is this possible and how do I correct it?

The subject of the post sounds confusing but allow me to explain.

I'm creating a View for the Events module - and I have all the proper modules installed - but I ran into one problem.

There is a field I'd like to use, but it's not available in the Fields dropdown menu - only in the Filters.

Why is that? Is there anything I can do?
