Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Redirect of taxonomy to a view

I'm trying to set up my web site so that requests to the taxonomy terms associated with a couple of cck node types redirect to a view rather than the default display. So for example, I'd like to fix it so that if you go to taxonomy/term/20/all (where 20 is a taxonomy term associated with marketlist nodes) you'll get the view I've set up rather than the normal display.

Now - it LOOKS to me like the taxonomy_redirect module is what I want - but it isn't working the way I expected.

node_access GUI not working properly

After creating a new role in Administer >> Access Control and then applying permissions, the Access Control GUI suddenly stopped working --- checked boxes were not saving as checked, kept reverting to null values.

I've searched the forums for issues like this, and I've found a similar one under node_privacy_byrole -- but none specific to node_access.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

EMERGENCY - can't log in

I just installed a bunch of modules and changed settings of those modules, afterward I closed my browser and opened it an bunch of times and managed to log in. Today I can't log in for some reason. After I type in my username/password it appears to log me in and brings me to the "edit user screen" but any option I select after that requires me to log in which brings me to edit user....

Auto assign imported nodes to a taxonomy or category?

OK, I've figured out (finally) how the taxonomy module works, and I've also found the feedparser module that gives some expanded functionality for importing an RSS feed as nodes. From there, I see how I can edit each one of the nodes in the feed, and assign it to a category. BUT, I was hoping that this could be automated, and that all nodes in a particular feed would be assigned to a particular category on import.

Navigation - get rid of bullet for "leaf" - "collapsed"

Hey,

As you can see on :

DesignPhase.net

The nav still has the bullets from drupal default. I tried giving them list-stype-type: none; but nothing as of yet.

How do you get this off?

Thanks :)

Basic Concept: Is it possible to have users deleted after a certain amount of time?

Hi... So I haven't even really gotten my Drupal set up yet; the basic piece is installed I just haven't customized it yet. I was outside today and had a thought I really have to throw out to you experts:

How would one go about doing this (if it is even possible):

1. Users can login/sign up
2. They get an automatic email telling them they need to confirm subscription
3. The confirmation screen in html contains a subscription link with the PayPal subscription button on it.
4. They then enter their payment information (set up with something like 30 days free)
5. Then if they don't like it they may unscubscribe through the PayPal subscription link.
5a. OR, When their account reaches the 1st limitiation time frame with an email telling them they need to confirm payment or have their account disabled.
5b. The 2nd limitation time frame they get another email.
5c. The 3rd, their entire account and every reference they existed is gone...
6. Their IP Address is somehow maintained in the system to where they are sent to another html page if they re-attempt to login. This page has another PayPal subscription button on it - which requires immediate membership payment.

I was thinking of trying to establish a very small monthly payment mechanism to control only serious participators. I am still mulling ideas around in my head, but I figure something like 2-3 bucks a month.
