Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Drupal and WebCalendar Integration.

Hi
Not sure whether to post this in installation or post installation forum but here goes.

I have Drupal V 4.7.4, Webcalendar V 1.0.4 and Webcal Integration V 4.7.x-1.x running on
Windows XP, Apache 2.0.59, Mysql 5.0.24a, PHP 5.1.6.

All of the above is running locally on my machine and working perfectly.
Logging on a user automatically displays that users calendar.
Creating a new user in drupal and then logging on as that new user automatically displays the new users new calendar. – Fantastic.

Not so on my ISP’s server where I have no control over the versions of php. Mysql etc etc.

I have tried various combinations of installs of Drupal, Webcalendar and Webcal Integration.

The best install I’ve managed so far is as follows:
Drupal V5.0 RC1, Webcalendar V1.0.4 and Webcal Integration V 5.x-1.x-dev

This is on hosted on FreeBSD, Apache, MySql 4.1.16, PHP 4.4.1.

The problems I’m encountering are:
1. I have to log in twice to log in to Drupal
2. The login to Webcalendar is then displayed instead of the users calendar
3. If the user doesn’t logout of webcalendar the next user to log in to Drupal gets the last users calendar.
4. When a new user is created in Drupal this user doesn’t have a calendar in webcalendar.

I’ve tried going backwards and installing Drupal 4.7.4 but encounter a completely different problem where I can’t log in at all to Drupal to finish the installation process.

How to remove username from user_profile page?

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a sort of stencil for individual but standardized group user homepages. I use the profile.module to input additional user info for each user, and then modify the theme's template.php and user_profile.tpl.php files. When I point my browser at a user page (e.g., www.mysite.com/?q=user/2), I get a nice homepage that I'm free to format, but there's always the user's username at the top. How do I get rid of it?

Simple email response form under Drupal 5.0RC1?

Greetings!

I'm sure that I'm missing something basic, but, after much searching, I still have the following question:

What is a good way (best practice?) to create a simple email response form under Drupal 5.0RC1 using currently available contributed modules?

Theming your usernodes

Hello,

I am trying to build a multinode userprofile based on the modules usernode + nodeprofile + nodefamily and I am struggling with the readme.txt documentation for nodeprofile; wolfram says:

* Theme your usernodes

If you have only one nodeprofile, just load the node view of your parent content
type of your nodeprofile, e.g. use this in your theme:

url problems - installing phplist as standalone

Hiya, I'm trying to install phplist as standalone, but when I try to enter the admin area I just get my Drupal theme with a page not found error.
When I try to prevent this interference by disabling the .htaccess I get an internat server when I try to access any url within the phplist directory.

How do I resolve this?

ps I know there is also the massmailer modules that uses phplist, however, I can't use it because the email-template module hasn't been upgraded to 4.7 Form API yet. (and massmailer also doesn't seem to be sending any emails whilst the site itself does)

need some directions..

Hi all,

I'm a drupal newbie and I need some help to organize my (future) content site.
In my website, the user:
1 - could create a custom content item
2 - in this custom content item there is a button to let the user to create several child-items.

I have installed CCK for the parent custom content item with custom fields but I down know how to solve second part of my problem.
