Post installation

I've used CCK to build a couple of basic node types and am now looking for a way to have the system load a page nodes of only one type - how can I achieve this?

By default, when we create a taxonomy structure like:

Vocab:
- Main Cat
- - Sub Cat
- - Sub Cat
- Main Cat
- - Sub Cat
- - Sub Cat
- Main Cat (id: 3)
- - Sub Cat
- - Sub Cat

How can we have taxonomy/term/3 list all the nodes in tid 3 as well as the nodes in the children terms?

this is a pretty basic php/drupal question I believe but i'm not that familiar with php or drupal...

I need short piece of php code to return a string that concatenates two CCK fields:

field_first_name and field_last_name

is it something like

$field_first_name[0]['value'].$field_last_name[0]['value']

I am interested in the Pontomail client and would like to know how well it runs in practice.

I have a custom content type that I created using CCK. I want anyone visiting the site to be able to create content of this type, so I added a link on my right-block and enabled anonymous access for that content type. The problem is that now, in addition to the link I created, there is also a separate "create content" link.

How do I get rid of this other link?

Guys,.. I have installed Drupal for my main site. It has already crawled by Google. But, I still have a big problem: My 'search module' is not working. It's a serious problem because I can't naviagate my visitors to their information need.
