Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

fckeditor Font Control

I have already found a number of answers to questions by searching in the forums. You folks are just great! However, here is a fckeditor question that I have not seen an answer for. I have installed the newest version and it is working quite well, with one exception: the font control dropdown boxes are missing.

'Report abuse' link on specific nodes

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had implemented a 'report abuse' link on a node. Basically it allows other members to point out submissions that are incorrect, or are offensive, or are spam, etc. I just want a little link that says 'report abuse' and it goes to a form where they type in what is wrong, etc and it goes in a list for the admin so they can check up on those items.

Thanks for the help,
Stephanie

Enabling Clean Urls in D5 on Dreamhost??

I mentioned this to Ivan at Creativebits.org and he said you guys could help.

I am using Drupal 5 for my site and for some reason I can't get Clean Urls
to work. Tried mod rewrite this, .htaccess that. Argh! I'm using Dreamhost, who says that ModRewrite is enabled, and apache is running.

also, the option to enable it is greyed out.

Error when running Clean Urls test:

Not Found

The requested URL /v6/admin/settings/clean-urls was not found on this server.

How to: D5 brochure-ware site

hello,
i've got D5 up and running, but i'm not sure what to do next. much of my site will be static, with a few expectations:

a blog
an articles/tutorials page
a portfolio that can organized and viewed by category (print, web, illustration, all, etc)

i'm also looking for a custom front page, and - eventually - some slight theming variations on individual pages (example: portfolio might have a slightly different layout than the articles)

i want the Blog entries to be promoted to the front page, and also be available (and sortable) on the Articles page.

and lastly, how do i position nodes next to each other?, or just position them in general? for example, on the front page i'd like to have a small "about" caption just below the header, and below that the blog lengthwise on the left side of the page and some images/recent work (also lengthwise) on the right hand side of the page next to the blog. sorta similar in placement to http://dfckr.com/

I've been looking through the handbooks, but much of the info in there seems to be geared towards drupal 4.7 and earlier.

i've been tinkering with drupal for a little while, but have never really created a "full fledged" site. i've got some basic PHP and MySQL skills, and am quite familiar with advanced CSS.

Cannot view my site as anonymous user

and when I go, as user1, to the User module in Administration, I can access Configure permissions, Access control, Access rules. But not Access roles, User settings, Users or Get help.
Any idea of what could be wrong?
Thanks

xml sitemaps "always1.0" error

Hello,

I noticed that google webmasters was showing errors on my sitemap. I went to http://www dot cameraprices dot com/gsitemap (taking out the "." and replaced it with "dot") and see that it gives out
http://www dot cameraprices dot com/always1.0

When viewing source, I see this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>http://www dot cameraprices dot com/always1.0
