Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Is this a good reason to start Drupal fresh? (Your opinion pls)

I’ve been all my posts using the PHP input format (I didn’t know any other way) now I have corrected my ways and changed all my previous posts in php formats to HTML formats.

My question is this, could I have executed any code without knowing back when I was posting with PHP inout format?

Login goes to blank page

I was working on adding some modules to my website the other day, and had just installed the following modules:

browscap-4.7.x-1.x-dev.tar
buddylist-4.7.x-1.x-dev.tar
chat-4.7.x-1.x-dev.tar
statistics_filter-4.7.x-1.x-dev.tar

Once that had been installed, I logged out and re-logged in. Once I clicked the log in button it went immediately to a blank page, URL states index?destination=node%2F01. Another develloper was still logged in, and he disabled the modules that had just been added, but to no avail. I then deleted them directly from the server in the hope that this would fix the problem, but it did not. I contacted our webmaster, who said it was not a problem with their databases, they recommended that I revert to a previous version of our .htaccess file in the main directory, but again, this did nothing. Does anyone else have experience with this problem? It is quite difficult to diagnose since noone who manages the website can log in anymore...

SiteMap module taxonomy question

A non-profit organization focused on promoting renovation in the City of St. Louis is trying to create an online database of "recommended" contractors. I have set up the site and used the Flexinode module to create a new "contractor" node type. I have been exploring various modules to create the category browsing functionality.

Post not appearing for anonymous users

Switched my site - www.egocentricity.net - to drupal this weekend. After three straight days of working at it, everything is up and running just how I want it to, except for one thing...

I have created two blog posts. The first post appears to both anonymous users and authenticated users. The second only appears to authenticated users.

Snippet to show when user last logged in and also when they signed up

I want to display 2 things on my profile page.

-When the user was last seen
"Last seen: 3 Days ago"

-When they signed up
"Member since 01/20/2005"

I have seen this snippet but it ouputs something like "17 weeks 3 days 4 hours" etc etc and that is not what I need

Clean URL's gone in my new install.

Just installed version 5.x it was a clean install and everything went successfully except.

I can't run clean url test. It appears to be missing from the install? No admin folder nothing.

I get the following error:

Not Found
The requested URL /admin/settings/clean-urls was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
