Post installation

I am thinking of migrating a blog that runs on Wordpress engine to Drupal engine.

I already have a Drupal site running on 4.7. I want to do this migration before upgrading to Drupal 5.

I know there are scripts and modules to import data from Wordpress to Drupal. But the cause of concern for me is that I am not sure if I can set up Drupal in such a way that more than one user can post to a single blog.

Im working on a new blogers site using 5.0.
I like to allow any bloger to choose a theme from the list and set it as his/hers blog design. Thats meens any user that watching that blogr's blog pages (enteries, profile, contact) would see it in the choosen theme.
I like to remind that themeing is not onley based on content's author because it theme bloger can still write comments on other blogers entries etc'.

I'm a Drupal n00b. I just love Drupal. This is my first drupal site.
I have a site for tv repair shops that lists tv repair tips by Brand, Model, Problem and Solution. The core Search module doesn't work for me because users want to search by the four fields. For example, i want to search for:
BRAND: RCA
MODEL: 195 ***models that may be PTK195 or CTC195
PROBLEM: video
SOLUTION: resistor

The biggest obstacle i see is that i do not know how to implement the LIKE %$model% string comparison function into drupal.

The latest poll block is not showing up for non -logged in users. I have access control set such that only a logged in user can vote or create a poll. I have tried everything possible but i cant seem to find a way to figure out why this is happening

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to figure out how to put a link to "My Account" (which is users/$username) on my top navigation block. I can only enter hard-coded links in there, not PHP code, from what I can tell.

Is there are way to inject a menu item into there via hook_menu or something? I see the default "My Account" on my navigation, which I have displayed on the left column..but I can't move it, it's marked "locked", and it's the only menu item like that.

Any suggestioins would be great..thanks!

I have upgraded my test site and am trying to get it to appear as close to my 4.7.5 work site as possible. However, I see that the author and date timestamp are not being posted in Drupal 5.

Example:

Test site: www.pemberworth.com/drupal
Work site: www.darcylicious.com

How can I get the author/date to show with the chameleon theme?
