Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

How to show more than 10 nodes on taxonomy pages without showing more than 10 on home page?

Hey all,

Does anyone know where I can change the number of nodes that show up on the taxonomy pages? I know changing the setting for all pages in the administration panel will do it, but I want to keep 10 nodes showing on the home page. Even just pointing me to the module or include file where this is defined would be of tremendous help.

Thanks in advance.

Two menus

I've installed Drupal and I have a fully configured good running Drupal installation now.

But i'm running into troubles now I want to add content.

I'll tell you what I want:

I want a menu (topmenu) like this:
Shop - History of brownies - Brownies recepies

When people go to "Historie of brownies", article 1 (story) should be shown. And another menu (leftmenu) should be display the following options:
- Article 1
- Article 2
- Article 3
- ...
These options should link to different articles.

Taxonomy - branch access

I would like to give a particular role access to modify a branch of the taxonomy. Not the entire taxonomy just a portion? Is there a module for this, or does anyone have any suggestions.

Calendar and Event Module

I am a complete newbie to Drupal. Could someone give me a quick pointer as to how to create an interactive Calendar -- I do not see a good tuturial on this. Do I use Calendar or Event module?

I would like a Calendar page on which permissioned users could add events and which everyone could view.

I am using Drupal 5.0. I have installed the calendar module, but don't know how to see a calendar page. I have also ftp'd the event module, but it does not come up as eligible to be enabled on the admin/modules page. I have installed & enabled the View module.

Views - Can't add field when creating new View

I'm using Views for the first time. My problem is that when I try to add a view, there is no option for me to add a field.

I have given my view a name and description. Under Block, I have checked 'Provide Block', specified this as a List View, given the block a title, specified 5 nodes, and left the 'More' option unchecked. When I go to Fields, I see the following, with no add option or hyperlinked text:

Name Label Handler Option Sortable Default Sort Ops
This view currently has no fields defined.

Fields are only meaningful with List view and Table View; they allow you to choose which fields are presented and in what order.

HOWEVER, if I cut the text I see there, this shows up when I paste it into a text editor:

Add Field
