Post installation

Dear All

I have just installed drupal 5 on Apache 1.3.37, php 4.4.4, on w2k
TI have installed the votingapi module but it isnot listed under the modules list , but votingapi actions is listed ut disabled becuase it depends on votingapi
I have also installed advpoll. It too is listed but depends on vtingapi so also is disabled
I am puzzled becuase the votingapi.module is in the same directory as the votingapi action

Anyone any ideas?

I created a sub-folder on my static site. I have created content there. Just not the complete thing as I need to figure out if this is possible first.

so right now it is:
sub-domain.example.net/testfolder/

and I want to move it to:
sub-domain.example.net/

Using drupal 4.7.6

Before I do more on the test site, how do I move the completed test site to live ?

I did a search, and only found info on moving to a test site.

When I click on edit profile,delete my image (avatar) and then go back to edit profile to upload a new photo, no matter what I upload it will still show my orginal picture.

I'm just arriving from being a mid-level WordPress user, and one of the things I liked more was the possibility of applying different styles to entries depending on a category setting. Specifically, I'm talking about those things called "asides", shorter entries that have no "read more" link and that have a different look & feel than regular entries.

I've read through some other articles about this and most of the individual modules needed for this dont seem to be compatible with 5.1
