Post installation

Hi,

I'm new to Drupal, and even if i find it somehow confusing at first, i can't help playing around with it!!
Now, i have the standard menu block, which for instance looks like:

Op1
-- Op1.1
-- Op1.2
Op2
-- Op2.1
-- -- Op2.1.1
Op3

When i login to Drupal, menu is shown like this:
Op1
Op2
Op3

Hi folks, can someone help me with a CCK - User Reference field ?

I've checked a role under "User roles that can be referenced" and assumed that when I create a custom node with this field, the select list will only show users which have the role I chose.

Unfortunately the select field shows all users, no matter what role they have. I don't know if I did understand the functionality of "User roles that can be referenced" correctly or if have a technical problem here. (Modules are up-to-date: Drupal 5.1, CCK userreference.module 1.30.2.11)

Hi all,

I am using views.module to create a page with exposed filters. What I would like to do is grab the category IDs for the exposed category filters, and create some custom text.

A Mundane example:

I need to know how i can create a page that has the newest videos, and the top videos instead of having them displayed as blocks.

I am looking to build a construction bidding, time tracking application to run under drupal, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to projects to look at, building block elements to use?
