I have a fresh install of 5.1

A tutorial I found told me to enable 'Page' and 'Story' but they aren't there to enable. Is this a 5.1 change, or do I have a problem with my install?

Hi folks,

I am using imagecache.

I can get it to work and create the thumbnails and normal image sizes just fine.

They end up in the default files/imagecache/<imagecache_preset>/files directory.

After 2-3 nodes I can see that that directory will be full of those preset images. After 500 nodes, that directory will get very messy, very fast.

Hi, I'd like to know the most widely used LDAP servers.

If Drupal.org has its own LDAP server, can I use it to help members log-in? If the answer is yes, whats the URL of the drupal.org LDAP sever (it could be drupal.org, but I'm asking incase it isn't)

I'm manually transferring stories from my old Wordpress site to drupal. We have multiple authors but I am doing all the data entry. So all the stories are going to be marked as 'admin'. What I want to do is mark them as authored by one of the other 2 users in the system instead of admin, but it doesn't seem to allow that. I can either set it to the current user or blank for guest.

Is there a way to do this without logging in as that user?

I'm running Drupal 5.x and now I want to blog by email to my website. Can anybody tell me which module I have to use? I only saw a Mailhandler module for Drupal 4.7, not for 5.x. I couldn't get it enabled.

What happened to Guestbook module, why it's not updated to 4.7?

As you can see I installed drupal 5.1 and wanted to install Guestbook module and found that it's not supported yet.

Can someone please tell me of a way to add guestbook to my website "drupal 5.1".

I'm also interested in a link page where people can recommend links.
