Upgrading from 4.5.2 to 4.6.0

I upgraded from 4.4.0 to 4.5.2 not long ago and didn't have any trouble. I ran the sql statement to add the tables and everything ran great. Now I am attempting an upgrade to 4.6.0.

Following the upgrade instructions in the INSTALL.TXT file I am to the point of running the update.php script. From the "Drupal database update" page I have "all" selected and click update. Now I get this error. I am guessing that I need to run the update script from a certain date but how do I find what date to run it from?

Finding the Drupal version

Is there an easy place to find the version of a Drupal site without looking at the code?

I admin a number of Drupal sites and they are all in various stages of upgrading. I would like to be able to go to admin>settings to verify the current version. Am I missing the obvious somewhere?

Can not edit pages [This content has been modified by another user, unable to save changes.]

I recently upgraded from 4.5.2 to 4.6-rc, after some problems I just pulled the current cvs version down and I am now working with that. A few more hiccoughs, updating themes and such I now have it mostly working.

When I try to edit a page that was created by my on 4.5.2 I get this themed error:

This content has been modified by another user, unable to save changes.

I basically just kept the old database and ran the update.php script from the 4.5.0 release date. I also am running with some contrib modules:

Failed to add new node after running custom SQL statement for inserting new nodes

I have created a new drupal site and first added a few nodes using native create content method. I then run a custom SQL statement on the drupal database directly for adding extra nodes. I modified node table, term_node table as well as sequence table. After the exercise, I tried to add new nodes using native create content method again. The problem arised here. When I click the submit button, it reported "Duplicate entry". It appears that drupal cannot recognized my new nodes which are created by custom SQL statement.

Aggregator Upgrade to 4.6

I'm considering upgrading the aggregator module to 4.6 from 4.5.2 because it offers some much needed improvements over the current module.

I tried searching the forum and googling for this. Does anyone have a set of instructions on how to do it? In addition to just copying the module from CVS, I'm assuming some database tables need to be adjusted/added as well.

Help is appreciated

Blank page when Add Forum

I am using Drupal 4.6.0 and am now having problems trying to add forum content. When I do a preview or a submit a blank page is returned and no entry is added to the forum.

I have been using 4.6.0 for a while now and this function previously worked. I tried removing some modules (as I'd added a few since I last tried to add to the forum) - no effect. I downloaded the latest CVS and freshly installed - it worked. Then I added back some of the modules and it continued working. I added the rest and it broke again. I removed them all and it is still broken.
