Upgrading Drupal

I recently upgraded my site to 4.7.0 RC3 and I think most of the upgrade process went smooth.
Only the updates of the image paths in the nodes seems not to have occurred. This page is a good example:

On the left are some images lost. Their path is still image/view/374/thumbnail, the old path when the base href was still there...
Is there anything I can do about it?

I have lost some accented (swedish) characters from my site, they are replaced by question marks.

it is only in some few nodes this has happened. The same characters is fine in other nodes.

Since I recently upgraded to 4.7rc3, I suspect this may be the reason. But it is possible that the problem is caused by something else.

Hi im pretty sure no emails are being sent to new users on my site.

Ive written a little test script which checks the mail() function is working.

Can anyone please help me in my further testing.

Im not sure how to send a test mail through drupal (other then register as new user) - and is there a log or something which would record the failure to send a mail..?

Yesterday I've update my site from 4.63 to 4.7-rc3.
First I've make a backup of my database with mysqldump.
Then I replaced all Drupal files in my web directory.
Then - login as admin - run the update.php.
After that I seems 4.7 run.
Under settings site maintenance I switch to the offlline mode. I know theres a lot to do before going online.

Offline mode works. You can see it here: www.go-with-us.de.
But it's not possible to login as admin anymore. No error. Nothing happens.

Hey everyone,

I just upgraded from 4.7rc1 to 4.7rc3 and now I cannot call my primary links anymore using:
print theme('links', $primary_links)

They are still there when I go to admin > menus, but nothing shows up in the theme.

What could be causing this??
