I'm upgrading a 4.6 site to 5.0 in preparation for going to 5.1
I seem to have a whole load of warnings in the upgrade which I think is related to me trying to use old 4.6 modules and themes in 5.0
However my current sites are showing this error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function module_exist() in /home/owal/html/drupal-5.0/includes/common.inc(1343) : eval()'d code on line 3
Now I've read up on this site which says that module_exist became module_exists sometime around 4.7 BUT I've recursive grep'ed the whole codebase and can't find it.
I have just updated my site from 4.6 to 5, and overall it's been fairly smooth. However, I've noticed that my old comments no longer thread correctly.
I am experiencing an issue to similar to this where all the entries in the thread field of my comment table have been replaced with 0a, so my thread looks like 0a.0a/ instead of 01.00/
This problem occurs with both Firefox 2.0 and the previous version and with both Drupal 5.1 and 4.6.
I'm using Drupal on my website www.maurovanetti.info and something weird is happening since a few weeks:
- Everything is OK with Internet Explorer 7;
- Forms can't be used with Firefox. For example, if the search box in the upper right corner is used, no result page will ever be shown. If the log-in form is used, same problem, but at the next page refresh a log-in success will be notified.
How can one tell what version of Drupal is currently loaded at a site?
Also
Can one skip versions when upgrading? 4.x to 5.1?
I have a site that was originally create in March of 06. I don't recall the version but would like to upgrade it to 5.1 (I upgraded a 4.7.6 site two days ago and it went very well.)
I have had some problems after I upgraded to 5.1. Most of them are solved now, and they where all sort of PEBCAM related ;-)
However, one issue stands. Images do not show(exept user avatars and flickr-bar), and I can not upload/add to post any images
I have two sites run by the same hosting company on the same server. ONe show images OK the other is not. They use two diferent databases (mySQL 4.1.20), and I have upgraded both sites to Drupal 5.1.
