Unable to update search module

Hi All,

i have a problem to update the search module. I udated my website to 5.5 now every core module is 5.5 exept the search module. I deleted it again on my server and put the new search module (5.5) in the modules dir. I runed the update.php but still my search module shows 5.1 not 5.5. I checked the info file and there it says 5.5 but in my module list it´s still 5.5.

Has naybody an idea how to solve this problem?

My problem is that i have genarally a problem with the search module. It does not index all words from the articles.

Core modules not visible after upgrade

I've just upgraded a test site from 4.7.3 to 4.10 then to 5.5 and everything seems to be running fine and there's no major problems with the theme. BUT, I can only see 2 core-optional modules listed (Book and Colour) and can't see any of the core-required modules! The upshot of this is I can't turn on some core modules that are needed by some of the contributed modules I'm using.

Any ideas folks?

Upgrade 4.7 -> 5.5 serious problem!

I read already lots of comments and threads in the forum but couldn't get any similar information on what happend on my site.

Basically, I followed the upgrade instructions.
I also made a backup of course (files, DB).

Everythings seems to be okay .. up and running.
Now I recognized, that new user can NOT register.

So - I tested it by myself and indeed:

Upload module not working

I just completed the upgrade to 5.5. However, the upload module is acting funny. As the administrator, it works fine. However, I have a manager role set up for some users. They have full permissions to the upload module. But when they (or any other role), tries to login, it does not work. They choose the file, and the progress bar appears, and stays. If you submit it, it shows 2 copies uploaded, the original file and a _0 file. But if you look on the server, there is no file uploaded at all.
