I'm looking at various solutions to building our alumni community for the university. One requirement is a webmail box for them.
Is there one for Drupal? Drupal meets some of my communityware needs, but the webmail module is a must-have. It doesn't have to be very robust...just read/send/receive/quotas kind of system.
I'm looking for a new CMS for my site about boardsports. I have a basic Drupal install up & running without any problems on my local computer. I'm very impressed so far, but I still have some questions:
* Is it possible to have different layout templates for different categories? I want the 'snowboard' pages to look different from the 'skateboard' pages for example, and also to have different content (blocks). The best situation would be to be able to assign each content item a specific template.
I'm trying to make the jump to running my Drupals on PostgreSQL, but one hurdle that I'm encountering is the need to enable plpgsql. It is, at first glance, an easy matter; one just runs the following command:
howdy all, I'm the webmaster of http://www.csmapcentral.com and it's related sites (about 6 other sites). I've setup these sites using a modified version of Xoops 2.0.9 beta, and accomplished a multi-site network, with a single installation, and almost all of the database shared between the sites.
what I'm missing is single sign on for the sites, but that's a rare feature to find, so I'm not too concerned about it.
hi... I am working in a music community site and I wonder if a put the nodes in some way like
create first a node for the artist and after I can create nodes for biography, photo, reviews, mp3, etc. I am trying to have a page where I can access everything like mtv. So a general page and from there access the mp3, photos and so on...
any idea how?
I was thinking to create first taxonomy for content type... but after how can i put everything under an artist/node?
I have been trying drupal on a verio freeBSD VPS in the last month and I like it very much.
