I'm just wondering if it were possible to import a bunch of data you have contained in a spreadsheet into your website.
So instead of manually inputting every page detail one after another... can you put all the info into a spreadsheet like excel ready to import into Drupal?
I'm guessing that there is a solution out there, perhaps related to messing around with phpMyAdmin and importing it...
I'm just looking for someone who has actually done it or has a better idea of how it should be done. Any tiips they can provide would be very helpful!
Am I the only one who gets incredibly confused by the way image.module uses its own pseudo taxonomy for "image galleries" but also creates a real taxonomy called Images? Is this really necessary? What's the benefit?
It causes many usability issues for me and my users — too easy to have redundant taxonomies /terms and galleries with the same name and quickly gets overly complicated with unexpected results (e.g. Do I need to file this under Products or Products or both?).
A few months ago I migrated my movable type blog over to drupal. I used pathauto as an easy way of creating path aliases to match MT's old archive URL format -- breaking old links is bad, and all that. What I wasn't expecting was the huge spike in search engine traffic.
