Is anyone working on, or has anyone thought about creating an Electronic Health Record module for Drupal?

I have a client who wants me to develop a cms based system specific to his industry. For example, I need a cms system that has typical cms features but is tailored to car dealerships so it will automatically have the ability to list cars, search prices, etc.

I like the look of drupal forum and layout is there a theme some where that I can use to make it look something like it?
or the forum module has been heavily modified by the developer to make it look like that?

I know I can use invisionboard and phpbb etc.. but I like to stick to drupal and work with one product if I can

I will try to make this brief.

I currently have Joomla installed and have begun our project and encountered several road blocks..

Perhaps the Drupal Software can make life easier.

All we want is a simple directory of sorts.

I will list our needs and I hope somebody can point us in the right direction. Hopefully the Drupal direction.

We need a site that will contain a very large database of information accessed via search, a directory in a sense.

The project is very large so we will need to add publishers from various areas.

Let me provide an example to make this easier. This is an example only, not the actual project, our project is actually Education based..

Very simple, but difficult to do in Joomla without including sections of the site that i dont want included in the search. their content, sections, and categories are confusing and you have to have one published to get the other.

Can Drupal Help us? am i looking at the wrong type of software? We would like the ability to add functions as time goes on and thats why I am looking at these CMS programs..
