- We are writting a collaborative book with the book functionality of Drupal.
1. A first version of node (which corespond to a book chapter) is uploaded on Drupal. It is version 1.
2. Other authors comment on this version for some time.
3. After getting a few comments the original modify the node to reflect the comments of the other authors.
This is version 2.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 several times, each time increasing the version number.
I have setup a multi site, creat two db_ prefix tables and edit the settings.php
i linked each other to the root and all is fine but some times if i change something like the language in the second page the page links me to the mainpage.
i had the idea of one user table but dont know if this would work.
I’ve installed both: Drupal and WordPress
Drupal is easier to use and manage, but WordPress search engine works better.
I think i'll chose Drupal for permanent installation.
I would like to create a simple website. It will be mainly to talk about my research (I am a PhD student). This may sound stupid, but I don't know much about webdesign, and I find websites managed by drupal to be visually appealing. I was wondering if using drupal on a local machine, them exporting to static html/css would be feasible (I don't have access to mysql nor php for pages hosted at my university) ? Does this make sense ?
