Hello,

I'm building a site for students to track their applications to colleges.
I will save their personal tracking information (such as name of the instituions applied / admitted etc) in flexinodes.

Questions:
1)I don't want to create an access role for each student, so how can I make those nodes private for each student? So, only them and admins can view it.
2)What alternatives do you suggest to my technique? Is this a good way of doing this?

Does anyone know where I can find a release history? You know, a file that states what changed in each release, so I have a list of bugs that were fixed, features that were added, changes that were made?

I have downloaded chatbox.module,and checkmail.module.When i am trying to execute checkmail.module ,it shows POP3 server is not configured.so i want to know how i can configure POP3 server,and how can i connect my drupal site with this server,and how can i implement checkmail.module, also i want to know chatbox.module, is it just like of chat server

I'm wanting to use the video module. I'm using 4.7 and the threads all say to get it from CVS. When i click the link it brings me to a page with a bunch of files and stuff. It doesn't really make sense on how or what to download.

I googled "how do i download from cvs" but didn't have much luck... I'm not stupid or lazy but i'm totally lost on how to do this cvs thing. Anyone know of a howto online?

I am working on building a drupal website for a small magazine that publishes every two months. I am pretty new to Drupal but have a little understanding of how menus and catagorization can work in congunction. What I am looking for is some ideas on how to best setup the workflow of the site.

Basically new content is uploaded as the current issue and then when the next issue comes out is moved into an issue # directory which is under a past issues menu item.

I have a static page, in which the only content on the page is a php enabled block. The block pulls information from an external database, and creates a table of businesses.
