I am just jumping into Drupal as an CMS for my classroom. I am interested in making a book listing that goes along with my themed units (for an elementary school classroom). What I would like to do is create a database of books. Right now, I have a web site where the books listed like this:
Book Level --- Book Logo --- Book Name, Author, Publisher, Short Summary --- Graphic if it has an online quiz --- available school library --- available public library.
I have tinymce switched off by default on its setting page. Unfortunately it does it only for my Admin account. I tested it on another limited account and it is still visible when loading the edit page. But this should be off by default for every one who has access to it. Do you have any idea how to switch it off for every profile?
I have a javascript which allows to enter some text and images. It saves the resultant output as an image. Is there anyway, to directly access the drupal sql database and save the image into a node/page of the corresponding user, logged in? If possible, can you give me any suggestions, on howto ? thanks!
I'm investigating the use of Drupal for a particular scenario. Basically what I'll have is several websites, all using a similar template with content (images, text content, perhaps some CSS) that is specific to the site itself.
Ideally I'd like to be able to manage all these sites with one implementation of Drupal.... however each site is going to have it's own "Links" block, it's own content, etc, although most of these sites will most likely share some common traits i.e. a bit of CSS, registration functions, help pages.
