Please note that you must upgrade to the latest 3.x version of the Nivo Slider jQuery plugin in order to use this release of the Nivo Slider module.

This release of Nivo Slider includes a number of new features, bug fixes and improvements.

Nivo Slider now supports version 3.x of the Nivo Slider jQuery plugin including its responsive layout. A number of other changes were made to version 3.x of the plugin which have been reflect in the Nivo Slider module. These changes are outlined below and in more detail on the Nivo Slider Changelog page.

The Nivo Slider is now responsive! It can now handle images of any size and will fill the container width. The slider height is variable and changes depending on the image height. Fixed size sliders can still be created, all you need to do is make sure your images are all the same size and set the width and height attributes of your slider in your CSS.

A few things to note:

• controlNavThumbs now use the data-thumb attribute to get thumbnail images.
• The Orman and Pascal themes have been removed until we can make them compatible with the new responsive slider.

Sorry for the long time since the last update!

Changes:

1. default cache mode is uncached
2. added warning about files not being cached to negate any issues with production servers
3. added drush integration, see issue #1614346
4. added support for JS preprocessing, see #1602174 for a CoffeeScript module
