Hi everybody!

I'm new to Drupal, after reading and seeing what Drupal can do, who can resist trying it?
I've installed Drupal 6.x and I am now trying out the different modules and settings of Drupal.

Changed default language, can't get english back

I am using drupal 6 and am a complete noob at drupal.

I imported a second language (Swedish) and then I went and set it as default language and now I can no longer get english back as my default language. English simply dissapered from the place where you set default language.

I have tried with most of the stuff I can think of but I simply can't think of anything else, anyone have any ideas?

It should be said that the language pack was for drupal 5 and i am running drupal 6.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Drupal awarded $5000 USD OpenID Bounty

Today, as part of the O'Reilly Open Source Conference, Drupal was awarded a $5000 USD bounty as part of the bounty program announced last year. I'm proud to say we were one of the first three projects awarded along with Plone and dotnetnuke.

Report building in Drupal

Greetings,

I came across with a necessity to build various reports in Drupal. Report may have a table or a graphical view (chart). I wonder, are there any already developed solutions for this? May be anyone already started to create or design something?

We built a simple report API module for our needs and I think should I continue improving it or not?

Thanks!

How can I keep my own changes intact when upgrading

I am new to drupal and we are about to start a pretty big project.

There are some features in Drupal 6 we need so we are using it (even tho that won't matter for my questions really). Drupal 6 will most likely be released long ago by the time we are done with our development.

Drupal 6 status update: welcoming bug fixes

Our last status update noted that July 1st was the code freeze deadline for new features to get into Drupal 6. While some of the strategic improvements that were close to being ready at that time got committed, we are now focusing on bug fixes, performance improvements, documentation updates and usability improvements.

We would like to encourage all users and developers to download a development tarball and test the old and the new functionality. There are certainly bugs in the code still, and we would like to squash them. Existing bug reports in the issue queue need some review. The patch spotlight page helps you understand how patch reviews work, and how can you help, if you are new to this kind of involvement. On the other hand, if you found a new bug, don't hesitate to open an issue and submit a fix. We are working towards releasing the first beta of Drupal 6.0 in a few weeks, which depends on how well the bug fixes go, so get involved if you'd like to see Drupal 6 released sooner.
