postgres and drupal

I don't think it's a permission problem, anyone got a workaround for this?

Referrer Spam

I have noticed recently some spam in my referrer log. The sites appear to be legit at first glance, but they are not. They share one thing in common, a hidden link to the same porn webcam. And clicking on the link from the log not only adds my site to end of the links section on the site, it also exposes the path to my admin module. The domains are registered to people with incorrect data, like the wrong area code for the city. No idea what they are trying to gain, maybe some increased page rank on google. I did read some about some negative experiences when confronting them.

Installation Problem

I really, really want to use drupal, but can't seem to get started.

Jabber Authentication over SSL?

Just installed Drupal today. Very clean install, great work!

I thought that the Jabber Authentication was a great idea, and good for the community I have in mind. However, I have my Jabber server purposely configured to only accept SSL connections. It appears that the Jabber module for Drupal doesn't have this functionality.

Is this correct? And are there any plans to add such a feature?

How can I get two line feeds to convert to a paragraph break ( or )?

My client loves drupal, but wants to have it automatically convert 2 line feeds to a paragraph break
(<p /> or <br /><br />).

Other content management systems I have worked with did this automatically, but I can't find anything
regarding this feature in the drupal documentation.

Thanks,

Ross

How flexible

Hello all,

I'm trying out Drupal right now and i'm looking at how flexible Drupal is with it's site design/layout. I would like to use Drupal for a large amount of very different sites (portals/personal sites/company sites). Can anyone give me some directions/tips on how to see how flexible Drupal really is ?

I've seen the concept of building your sites from blocks but how about the site hierarcy. How easy is it to connect pieces i've build in php into Drupal.

Lot of questions ;-)

Greetings,
Bart.
