Installing Drupal

Hi all,
I would like to use XTEMPLATE for my Drupal site.
Since my site will be in italian and english, I would like to know if (and how) it is possible to put link descriptions that can be translated (using t() function)in primary & secondary menus.

I run linux and have imagemagick installed but I have no idea what to do about the 'path to convert.exe' option in hte configuration of the image.module

I am new to drupal and checking out the xtemplate. Can anybody point me to the information that enables me to populate the primary an secondary links in the menu at the top of the page.

Is there a way to change the top navigation bar link order? For example, change it from *Home Articles Forums* to *Home Forums Articles* or something like that. Right now, my top navigation bar is not in a logical order for the site. I'm using Drupal 4.3.2.

What would I need to do to add an "Expire Date" field to a user's account? I'd like to set up a site that gives a user temporary access to everything for 14 days, then requires them to take an action (i.e. pay for a subscription) to re-set their expiration date.

Would this require a new module or would it be easier to tweak some existing code or is this function somewhere in the admin section but I just can't find it?
