Hello all!
I´m new here and I must admit that I´m not a programmer, but I wanted to add Drupal features to my site, and I´m planning to do it myself.
So, I added all the drupal files and folders to my remote host: http://www.ligadelconsorcista.org/drupal
(I added the "dupal" folder inside the "public_html" one)
I create a database name "drupal" (I can´t use phpmyadmin with my host, I have to create from their control panel, so I simply create the database.
I think this is wrong so I have done my best to follow the CVS setup. So now I have a page (graphics missing and the error message:
warning: init_theme(): Failed opening '' for inclusion (include_path='.;c:\php4\pear') in c:\Program files\apache Group\apache2\htdocs\includes\theme.inc on line 51.
when I go to add a user or click on any of the links - I am back to where I started with warnings about files missing.
I've just installed the cvs version of drupal as of July 17th, 2004 and the latest version of chatbox. After adding the chatbox.mysql tables to the drupal database, and copying the chatbox.module to modules/, whenever I click on " Enter the Chatbox ", I get a " Page Not Found " and in the Apache logs, I get " chatbox " not found. The module is loaded, and authenticated users have permissions.
OK, I have a working (non-Drupal) system on my domain (kingdomrpg.com).
I want to set up a Drupal system and move stuff there and try it out, and let others try it out, etc., without taking down my current site.
Any tips? I was looking at the installation procedure, and it looks like it wants to be set up on its own, on the right domain, etc. I'm sure some of y'all have done some porting....
I have setup a Drupal site with version 4.4.2. This would be a corperate site and not a community or blog site. I installed the navigation module to create the menus. I would like to get some input/advice on how to handle user permissions. Mainly there should be four "groups". I have created these as user roles.
Newbie here. I'm having problems installing Drupal. I have unpacked and uploaded all necessary files. I have added my details to the conf file, in the following manner:
