Installing Drupal

My site (www.writers-circle.com) has been having problems with profile images. I can upload them, and when viewing a specific users profile it shows up fine. In the user list, however, it shows the default image fine but any users with an uploaded image get a link instead. Then, in the log, I get a whole bunch of error messages saying "system/files not found." I have checked everywhere and I can't seem to find the reference to system/files in the settings page.

This must be something here only. Don't see any posts regarding this matter after 4.6.3.

The first page I created, shows up in "recent posts", but every page thereafter does not. Tried "page" and "books" to see if a module issue. Beginning to think trash got into the database somehow.

If it is the database what and and what field should I look into?

If not, other suggestions?

turned pathuto on and off, no difference -- also did a pathauto reindex

pages show up in "content view"

I have searched the forums for the past two days and I just want to post a situation to be sure that I'm doing things correctly to make user pictures show up in profiles and blog posts. First off, I've installed Drupal 4.6.4 using Fantastico scripts. Now, I want to list the following situation to make sure I'm on the right path.

If-

authenticated users can access files,
file system path in set to: files (in the admin-->settings),
picture support is enabled in the admin-->users-->configure (as pictures or pictures/),

and if-

I,ve installed 'image', made an image gallery and put an image into the gallery.
I can't get it to display. It tries to load and then can't show it.
I,ve checked that the original image, preview and thumbnail all exist and have been uploaded to files/images as they should
The whole set up seems fine - except when I try to view the image and then both the thumbnail and the preview are showing blank.
I've got ‘image’ and ‘image_assist’ modules both installed. Both appear to be installed OK. The ‘[image_assist.mysql’ is installed in the database correctly.

I've installed drupal and it was running OK but now I can't login in. When I enter my username and password it gives me no erros but the administration menu doesn't appear and instead the login box just stays there. Does any one have any idea as to what I can do?

Hello. I've got one problem, which I really don't know how to solve. I moved my drupal site from one server to another by copying files on FTP and importing mysql database from old one. Then, I changed informations in sites/default/settings.php to new ones. Now, when I run my new site, it doesn't work. Where is the problem? How could it be solved? Thanx for advices.
