This module introduces an OAuth 2.0 authorization server, which can be configured to protect your Drupal instance with access tokens, or allow clients to request new access tokens and refresh them.
Since version 6.1.0, the module could cache a token's permissions in a way that let them be reused for another user's token with the same scopes. A user could gain permissions they do not have, including administrative access.
This module enables editors to edit content, including paragraphs, directly on the rendered page.
The module doesn't sufficiently check field access permissions when editing, deleting or adding paragraph items to entity reference revisions fields.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with the permissions "access frontend editing", "add paragraphs"/"edit paragraphs"/"delete paragraphs" and also have access to update the parent entity the field belongs to.
This module enables editors to edit content, including paragraphs, directly on the rendered page.
The module doesn't sufficiently protect the routes used to delete and reorder paragraphs against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). An attacker could trick an editor into visiting a crafted link, which deletes or reorders paragraphs on a node using the editor's permissions.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that the victim must be logged in with permission to edit the content and to delete or move paragraphs.
This module lets non-administrators approve, deactivate and delete users, limited by the roles they can delegate through Role Delegation.
The module doesn't sufficiently check role delegation when approving users, and offers an Activate link for blocked administrators. It also doesn't protect user 1 from being deactivated or deleted.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with one of the module's additional action permissions.
This module enables you to share users, content and configuration across a group of domains from a single Drupal installation. Its Domain Access submodule controls which domains a user may edit content on, and has an optional setting to grant user access per content type.
The module doesn't sufficiently check which domains a user is assigned to when the per-content-type grant setting is enabled.
Provides the Bootstrap front-end framework as a Drupal theme.
Bootstrap theme did not sufficiently filter certain attributes, which could lead to a cross-site scripting vulnerability.
This vulnerability is mitigated by only affecting the optional tooltip and popover features. A short-term mitigation is to disable tooltips and popovers on admin/appearance/settings/bootstrap or admin/appearance/settings/my_bootstrap_subtheme.
This module allows granting access to unpublished nodes per content type.
For nodes with at least one unpublished translation, the module grants every user with the "access content" permission view access to the published translations of that node. This overrides the restrictions of other node access modules, such as Content Access or Domain Access, that might have been in place for these translations.
Swiper is mobile first, layout and gestures wise, it provides great amount of options for designing your own widget and related events.
This module provides a route for displaying published content entities in a dialog. The route does not sufficiently verify the current user's access to the specific entity.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that only rendered output is returned, and field-level access controls are still enforced.
This theme provides a front-end design for transparency and open-government sites, including a table preview of CSV files attached to content.
The theme doesn't sufficiently check file access when it renders that preview. It reads the file directly, so a visitor who may view the content, but whose download of the file is refused, can still read the file's contents on the page. A preview rendered for one visitor can also be cached and shown to another.
This module provides a user interface to select and configure icons, including a CKEditor 5 button and widget that embed an icon in formatted text.
Under uncommon situations, the CKEditor 5 widget displays admin-controlled text with appropriate filtering leading to a Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have access to edit content with a text format that allows the UI Icons CKEditor 5 button.
This module enables you to upload CSV files to a field and display them as an interactive, sortable and searchable table.
The module doesn't sufficiently escape CSV cell and header values before passing them to the DataTables library, leading to a potential cross-site scripting vulnerability.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with permission to create or edit content that contains a CSV field.
The Custom Formatters module allows users to easily create custom Field Formatters through an admin UI without writing a custom module.
The PHP formatter engine runs eval() to execute user-provided PHP code and allows arbitrary PHP execution on the site. The permissions UI gives no indication about this behavior.
The ABC theme provides configurable layouts and visual styling for Drupal websites, including support for Font Awesome icons in navigation menus.
The theme does not sufficiently sanitize menu link titles before inserting them into HTML class attributes.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the requirement that the attacker must be able to create or modify menu link titles, either through menu administration or through content menu settings where permitted.
The Black Hole theme provides configurable layouts and visual styling for Drupal websites, including support for Font Awesome icons in navigation menus.
The theme does not sufficiently sanitize menu link titles before inserting them into HTML class attributes.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the requirement that the attacker must be able to create or modify menu link titles, either through menu administration or through content menu settings where permitted.
The ZeroPoint theme provides configurable layouts and visual styling for Drupal websites, including support for Font Awesome icons in navigation menus.
The theme does not sufficiently sanitize menu link titles before inserting them into HTML class attributes.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the requirement that the attacker must be able to create or modify menu link titles, either through menu administration or through content menu settings where permitted.
PHP has announced a critical PHP security release for Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 14:00 UTC. Reserve time to update PHP as soon as the release is available. If you manage PHP yourself, you’ll need to apply the update. If your host manages it, follow their communications for timing and any required action.
Updating to a PHP release containing the patch to these vulnerabilities is the only complete mitigation.
The Entity List module provides a way to create lists of entities without Views.
The module has a remote code execution vulnerability.
The vulnerability is not directly exploitable with the module alone, but multiple serious exploit paths exist with other contributed modules. At least one known exploit path does not require authentication. Custom code may also expose the vulnerable functionality.
The Navigation module doesn't sufficiently sanitize certain attributes, which can lead to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with permission to enter HTML tags containing specific data attributes, or the administer menu permission.
Gin is an administration theme that provides a modern, clean, and customizable backend UI for editors and site administrators.
The module doesn't sufficiently sanitize certain attributes, which can lead to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with permission to enter HTML tags containing specific data attributes or the administer menu permission.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists within the Field UI module in Drupal core.
The vulnerability is not directly exploitable with core alone, but multiple serious exploit paths exist with contributed modules. At least one known exploit path does not require authentication. Custom code may also expose the vulnerable functionality.
The vulnerability can be mitigated by uninstalling the core Field UI module (field_ui), which will provide protection while sites are updated.
There will be a Drupal core security release for all supported branches on October 14, 2026 between 16:00 and 21:00 UTC. (To see this in your local timezone, refer to the Drupal Core Calendar.) Based on our analysis this vulnerability rates at 19/25 on our risk calculator.
The Drupal Security Team urges you to reserve time for core updates at that time because exploits might be developed within hours or days.
We recommend updating to the latest supported patch (bugfix) release for your site's version of Drupal before October 14, so that you can address any other upgrade issues before the security window.
This issue is being protected by Drupal Steward. Sites that use Drupal Steward are already protected from some known attack vectors, but the protection offered will not cover all possible exploits. Sites should upgrade in the near future in case additional attack vectors are discovered.
Advanced File System turns Drupal's file storage into a manageable, observable and maintainable subsystem.
The Advanced Filesystem: Backup submodule does not sufficiently validate certain requests. This may allow an attacker to trick an authenticated user into performing unintended actions through a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability.
The vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that advanced_filesystem_backup module must be enabled.
This module enables you to restrict access to routes by IP address.
The module doesn't reliably restrict a subset of dynamic routes, leading to an access bypass vulnerability. The impact depends on how a site uses this module and whether it has any routes that are dynamic.
The Examples for Developers project aims to provide high-quality, well-documented API examples for a broad range of Drupal core functionality.
The "Email Example" feature implemented by the email_example submodule can be used to send illegitimate emails to arbitrary email addresses.
Therefore, the email_example sub-module is being removed from Examples for Developers until a version demonstrating security best practices can be added back in the future. Developers who based a new module on this example should review their code.
This module enables you to restrict view access to single nodes via taxonomy terms.
The module doesn't sufficiently check access rights when in "Permission mode" and a node referencing a deleted taxonomy term is accessed via JSON:API.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that it requires a specific module configuration, references to a deleted term, and access via JSON:API to be present.
This module enables you to configure a WIKI-like input filter that allows users to create links to site and external content.
The module doesn’t sufficiently prevent page titles being viewed for certain privately-accessible URLs.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have access to use a text format with the Freelinking plugin configured to allow privately-accessible external URLs to be crawled. Site administrators may want to disable this functionality to evaluate any risk.
This module enables you to show a breadcrumb trail for taxonomy term hierarchies.
The module doesn't sufficiently check for view access of parent terms before rendering the crumb segment.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that the setting "Add parent hierarchy" (term_hierarchy) must be enabled, and at least one term has a term in the parent hierarchy that is unpublished.
The module Country provides a dedicated field type for Drupal core's official country list.
The module does not sufficiently escape user input in its autocomplete widget, which can lead to a cross site scripting vulnerability.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that it can not occur out of the box with the Country module, additional module(s) or custom code is required.
This module adds a "Generate internal links" action to the AI CKEditor toolbar, letting editors select text and have the module search the site's content for relevant pages to link to.
The module's search query did not respect entity access when returning results to the browser.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an user must have permission to use the AI CKEditor "Generate internal links" feature on a text format.
The DKAN module enables organizations and individuals to build open data portals in Drupal. The DKAN datastore imports tabular data files into database tables and exposes them for querying with a JSON API.
The module does not correctly check access for all of its endpoints, leading to a potential access bypass.
The vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that it is only impactful for sites that do not give "access content" permission to the anonymous role.
This module enables you to add an extra layer of verification for user login flow.
The Two Factor Authentication - TFA / Passwordless Login module for Drupal contains a vulnerability in the headless login endpoint that can disclose the site's stored miniOrange customer API key to unauthenticated users.
The vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that Headless 2FA must be turned on by a user with a miniorange 2fa headless permission, which is a restricted permission.
This module enables you to audit a Drupal site by generating reports about its content, entities, display modes and configuration.
The module doesn't sufficiently check entity access when rendering an entity through the display-mode example route. This allows an attacker to view unpublished or otherwise access-restricted content.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that field-level access is still enforced, so fields that are themselves access-restricted (for example a user's email or password hash) are not disclosed.
This module enables you to "share" a view display within another website via an iframe.
The module doesn't sufficiently block access to view displays. Although the views data is not displayed, resource-intensive views could still be executed which could affect site performance.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must know the view and display IDs.
The Leaflet module provides integration with the Leaflet JS mapping library.
Under certain circumstances, when the Leaflet field formatter builds a map it does not filter content titles, leading to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact an attacker needs to have permission to create or edit content that is used in a Leaflet map.
The Inline Formatter Field module allows site builders to template and style entities with a field.
This module does not properly protect against template injection when parsing, allowing users to render protected data or execute unsafe Twig commands.
This module enables you to link the output of a field to a URL or to the value of another field.
The module doesn't sufficiently separate field content from template code when rendering linked field output. Depending on the Twig extensions installed on the site, this can be used to expose site configuration values, which may include sensitive information such as API keys or credentials.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with permission to create or edit content in a field that has Linked Field enabled in its display settings.
This module renders entity add/edit forms inside an AJAX dialog for use with entity reference fields.
This module relies only on the "access administration pages" permission, without checking whether the current user had create or update access to the entity itself.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with the permission "access administration pages".
Actstream (short for Activity Stream) aggregates a user's activity from external services (RSS feeds, etc.) into per-user activity stream entities.
The configuration route does not sufficiently check that the user editing it is the account owner (or a user administrator) leading to an access bypass vulnerability.
