I'm not a cvs wizard, but it appears that there are no cvs tags for 4.7 - and thus no way to check out the 4.7 branch for diff's and patchs.

Marked as critical because it prevents people from submitting accurate patches.

If I'm wrong please let me know and close this.

downgrading to normal task, you can get the latest version for 4.7 (ver. 1.7) by omitting -r DRUPAL-4-7 from your cvs command. But it should still be tagged at some point.
