I would like to have a slide show on top of the contents, is this option available with this theme? if not, what module or option would you recommend to create such an option?

You can use any slideshow you like with zeropoint. I prefer Nivo Slider or FancySlide, see example: http://www.campingstyle.com.ua

Can I get some help with this please! I installed Nivo Slider in Drupal 7 following the steps as instructed but nothing appears but the block's title. What am I doing wrong?
