I upgraded to the newest version and I notice a really nice new featured. I noticed that the left and right sidebars will come out from the main content outline. This allowed the actual content to take over the complete "content" block area. In other words, it seemed as if the sidebars were almost simply attached to the edges of the main content.

However, after a while it went back to the previous normal setting with version 7.x-1.0. Can someone help me get the the newer block settings back!

Thank you!

I am not quite sure I understand. Can you attach an image or something? What browser do you use and what version of Zero Point? 7.x-1.1?

I had the same problem.
The blocks outside the content area came due the fact of caching. Probably, under performance, you had set the option to chache your files.
After you cleaned the cache (ore the cache time expired) the newer css(?) files were loaded in and the blocks were added at their normal place (inside the content).

I guess that between 1.0 and 1.1 there was a small change in the css wich made this possible.

I have no screenshot (all is fxed now), but to reproduce the error if needed:

  • install zero point
  • possible (I didn't really look in to this) it could be necessary to add custom witdh enabled.
  • set caching on (performance)
  • update the themes
  • step to solve: clear caches

jerrevds is right. Probably nobody bother to read README.txt :) I will post the updated lines in it:

UPGRADING to a new version of 0 Point
-------------------------------------------------------------------------+

1) If possible, log on as administrator user.

2) Put the site in "Off-line" mode.

3) Place the zeropoint directory into your themes directory (sites/all/themes/zeropoint).
In case you have done customization to 0 Point theme, remember to overwrite theme
custom-style.css with your custom-style.css file.

4) Clear the Drupal cache option and put the site in "On-line" mode. It is always a good
idea to refresh the browser's cache (CTRL+F5).

5) Check the settings for the 0 Point theme at /admin/build/themes/settings/zeropoint.

i have the same problem but when viewing on my nokia c5-03 touch screen mobile (not tested on other mobile devices).side bars were seen far down to the content area. Now left side bar is not seen at all. but everythig works perfect for some pages when i logged in as administrator.dont know what i had done wrong.(it works perfect in chrome,IE etc).

i had also some layout problems with page breaks.but now i disabled the pagebreak button and removed all page breaks from posts.it solved the layout problems when viewing on pc but not for mobile.
